Section Three - Units Involved

Units involved (Other than yourself): Engine 1

Section Four - Narrative

Narrative of Incident: Engine 1 and Quint 1 were requested for a fire at Montgomery, specifically MPD. On arrival, it was noted that a food stand right in front of a building colliding with MPD was on fire. Quint 1 was staffed solely by myself, while Engine 1 was staffed by Lieutenant Rodriguez and Probationary Firefighter Strange. All operations were switched to TAC and I worked with Engine 1, given that Quint 1 had little to no use for such a fire. A crosslay was set out by myself which was used to knock the fire down. In the process of extinguishing it, Lieutenant Rodriguez suffered a minor and brief consciousness compromise due to the toxic environment, resulting with no injuries at all. The fire was knocked down and overhaul was performed, later on, the propane tank of the stand was disconnected and separated from it. Units switched back to the regular radio traffic channel and returned to quarters after packing up.
