Section Four - Narrative

Narrative of Incident: Every unit was occupied with the firefighters who pressed the panic buttons and I was in the station all alone when I heard the bell ring, a fire broke out.

At the time of the fire, I was suspended. I was required to take a BLS refresher course before the suspension expires. Because of this, as I was still certified for fire and rescue, I asked the shift supervisor, who happened to be Deputy Fire Chief Mitchell Casey, for permission to respond to the fire.

I quickly suited up and headed to the fire with Quint 1. I had brought Quint because a caller stated something near MPD was on fire, I assumed it's the structure and it could've required an aeiral attack.

Once I was on scene, I noticed SP doing traffic control and a food stand across the streat from MPD was on fire.

I deployed the bumper line and quickly put the fire out, as the food stand was rather small. Afterwards I blocked the area off for our fire investigators so they could conclude the investigation.

I understand that, if it is found that any information is false, forged, fraudulent or otherwise invalid I may be discharged from the Red County Fire Department based on the severity of the invalidity of the information.
