Section Four - Narrative
Narrative of Incident: At 01:37 a 911 call was received about a dumpster that had caught fire in Montgomery at the Pizza Stacks. QRV 1 was the first arriving unit and immediately established IC as well as began closing the road off. By the time Engine 1 arrived on scene, which was not long after QRV 1, the fire was quite large in nature and was spreading over to other objects including plants. Fear that it may spiral out of control, Engine 11 was paged and arrived on scene soon thereafter, with both units fighting the fire from either side, it was slowly but surely put down. Once the fire was out, hotspots were checked which were none. At this time no foul play is seen and I believe it was more than likely someone dumping a cigarette butt.
