Section Four - Narrative

Narrative of Incident: At 17:44, we received a 911 call for a structure fire at the Dillimore Gas Station. Within minutes units arrived on scene and I established Incident Command. Upon arriving on scene there was heavy smoke and flame both exterior and interior. I ordered Quint 1 to begin a primary as Engine 1 and 11 began an exterior attack. Tender 2 soon arrived on scene due to the lack of water supply in the town of Dillimore. Primary search was deemed negative and Quint 1 assisted on the exterior attack. As some of the flame was interacting with a fuel source, the lines were shut off and Engine 1 utilized foam for some time to assist. Once the exterior was knocked down, Quint 1 set up for an aerial attack as there was heavy flame and smoke on the roof. Engine 1 and 11 pushed inside for an interior attack, where Quint 1 later assisted. The fire was put out and overhaul was negative. The fire has been passed along to the Fire Prevention Bureau for investigation.
