Treatment Narrative
At approximately 0300, we received a department call from the State Police as a male was on the roof of Montgomery Pizza stacks and threatening to jump. Upon arrival, we inflated a jump bag at the bottom of the interior. However, this did not help as the patient walked over to the other side of the building and proceeded to jump off. When the patient jumped off, he lost consciousness and was unresponsive. He had a major bleed on his head so Sheffield applied an occlusive dressing to control the bleed. I obtained his vital signs and he had a low pulse and heart rate. I applied a BVM mask and a LUCAS device. We managed to stabilise him after around ten minutes and then we readied him for transportation. As we were loading him on the stretcher, he began to have a seizure so Raphael Matthews administered ketamine to induce him into a coma. After this, we transported him to hospital where their staff resumed the treatment. Unfortunately, the patient remained brain dead and passed away later in the morning.
