Treatment Narrative
Received a call of an adult man being beaten up by an unknown guy. On my arrival, there were multiple civilians surrounding the injured person and a BMA with a bat in his hand. I assumed that BMA was an attacker, so, before I fully approached the scene I tried to contact SP over departmental but no one was responding. I then asked what happened there, from the distance. Then, the BMA hit the injured WMA that was on the ground with his bat and ran away. Multiple civilians, including some firearm permit holders, ran after him, leaving me with an injured male alone. I started speaking with a patient, making sure he is responsive and alert. His vitals were a bit over the normal values but that was understandable. He had multiple bruises on his face and cuts on his head. I assumed he got hit in the head with a bat and he confirmed that. I placed c-collar over his neck and then continued to quickly clean some of the wounds. He seemed pretty chill about it and did not care much. After I cleaned his wounds, I packed my equipment and him into the Ambulance. Then I drove him to CMM.
