Chief Complaint: Head injury secondary to MVA / Thoracic Injury
Treatment Narrative
Male patient found unrestrained in RCFD Ambulance, laying across passenger's lap. Not conscious, labored breathing. No apparent bleeding observed. Patient entrapped. Chief 1 initiates extrication after cervical collar applied through punched window. Patient extricated to backboard. Jaw thrust performed. High flow O2 initiated. Bulky dressing for possible left sided flail segment. Vitals monitored en route, positive improvement in condition en route to CMH.
