Reinstatements
Former employees who left in good standing and are interested in returning to service are encouraged to reach out to the department’s administrative office for further information regarding eligibility and next steps.

We recognize the value of experienced firefighters and staff who understand the culture and demands of the job. Returning members may be asked to complete updated training to ensure alignment with current protocols and standards.

And thus we welcome the opportunity to bring experienced personnel back into our ranks in continued service to the community.

Lateral Transfers
The Red County Fire Department welcomes experienced firefighters and/or EMTs through our lateral transfer program. This opportunity is designed for qualified professionals currently serving in other fire departments who wish to bring their skills and dedication to our growing team.
